Somatic coaching

Somatic coaching 〰️
Somatic coaching is a body-centered approach that nurtures self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal transformation.
Through movement, breath, and attentive listening to the body, it helps you reconnect with your sensations, emotions, and intuition.
This approach is especially valuable during times of transition, stress, or inner questioning — when we’re looking to realign with ourselves and move forward with clarity and balance.
-

Individual support
To explore your relationship with your body, stress, and emotions.
Through practices of body awareness, breath, and movement, somatic coaching helps you reconnect with your inner world, release tension, and restore overall balance.
Each session is tailored to your pace and current needs — whether it’s boosting energy, calming anxiety, regulating emotions, or simply inhabiting your body with more ease and gentleness.

1:1 Somatic coaching
Working with Astrid has been part of a transformational journey for me, and I will 100% keep working with her. I have felt safe, never judged and I love how she brings soo much of herself into the sessions.
I love how she brings embodiment work, inner child work and meditations into our sessions compared to just talking. I feel like she is able to find a very good balance between guiding me into the harder, deeper stuff as well as having a strong intuition for what is too heavy to be released at this point.
I 100% recommend working with Astrid!

Somatic coaching - group workshop
Astrid has a beautiful gift of bringing women home to their bodies. During her embodiment session, I felt safe to explore my emotions and my sensuality. Her guidance in this practice was so powerful and intuitive.

1:1 somatic coaching
I had such a profound healing experience in my embodiment session with Astrid. She created an incredibly safe space for me to explore my feelings and transcend the discomfort stemming from childhood experiences that were blocking my confidence. She unlocked a deeper understanding of my inner child that feels like the beginning of a whole new level of self-love and acceptance.
Astrid's guidance is strong and fluid, yet gentle and compassionate! I feel so honored to experience her magic!

My Journey

My name is Astrid. I grew up near Paris and spent much of my adult life in China and the United States.
🇬🇫In 2019, I discovered French Guiana on a vacation and felt a deep calling to live there. In 2022, I left my job and my New York life to answer that call: “I’m moving to French Guiana” 🦋. Over time, I’ve grown more and more rooted in this land and among its people: “I’m here to stay.”
Yoga, meditation, and coaching have transformed my life.
It’s this path of transformation that I love sharing with my students and clients.
I completed my initial yoga teacher training in 2018. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my practice and refine my teaching, exploring topics like meditation and anatomy with teachers such as Yogi Charu, Mathieu Boldron, and Matt Giordano.
My teaching blends tradition and modernity, honoring the roots of the practice while remaining grounded in today’s world. I love guiding my students so they can learn, progress, and integrate these practices into their daily lives.
One thing that has always been important to me—and that I trained in right after my initial certification—is trauma-informed teaching, ensuring that my classes are safe and supportive for everyone.
In 2023, I expanded my approach by becoming an Embodiment Coach (somatic coaching), a method that encourages lasting transformation through reconnection with the body, sensations, and emotions—a natural complement to my yoga practice.
